I'm having no fun this year

If our situational hitting does not get better I actually think things will get worse.

Things cannot possibly get worse. Sit back and take a look at the big picture here.

And if the team is still struggling in a month or two, there's going to be significant move(s) made. It happens every year. I'll still be very, very surprised if this team is not playing in October.

And we just hit 2 2-out doubles with runners in scoring position.

I 100% agree sis. This team isn't even fun to watch. Soto is fat, Dempster is proving he's a fluke, and our pen is about as reliable as Biff without Viagra.

Dempster hasn't been great and clearly isn't worth the money, BUT he pitched pretty well last night. He should have been taken out after the 6th, and kept us in the ballgame. Lou has been mismanaging out starters all season, lately keeping them in too long to save the pen. Problem is, he's keeping them in because he's scared of the pen, but by leaving in the starters to create messes, he's using the pen to put out too many fires which they're not capable of doing. It's frustrating as shit.

Right now, the central is the strongest division in the NL.
I like you guys a lot.

Another quote of the week. I don't know about Biff and viagra. I sure as hell need it. The only problem is you have to plan for it.
I'm 100% fine with this. I'm just glad there's an actual plan in place that isn't, "Let's load up on retreads and hope we get lucky." I'm a little tired of that plan.

How far in advance do you have to know? That is to say, how long does it take to kick in?

Well the NL West is god awful outside of the Dodgers. The NL East is a much better division outside of the Nats. I think the Cards are the only team outside of us that could finish higher than 4th over there.
Remember when people were crowning the Pirates' asses just a week or two ago? They're 12-19 now. I've yet to see anything that makes me think this division is any better than we expected it to be. We're just over a month into the year(remember the season started a week late this year), let's see where everybody is in a month or two.

About 20 minutes if you chew it up. Tastes like shit, but it works faster.

I'm warming up to this team, but I'm still scared about the injuries and our pen. A nice deadline trade would go a long way towards me feeling confident about this season.

4 teams in the central have a better record than the east leader.
