I live in northeast Arkansas, which is covered with nothing but Cards fans, so my classmates would always mock me everyday for being a Cubs fan. It only weathered my hatred for their team and caused me to develop an irrational hatred of Albert Pujols. They weren't exactly the brightest group of baseball fans I've ever met.

so one of my employees had to fill in for someone at middle school yesterday. he came back this morning and handed me a note. it's from my little cardinal buddy. i will post his note word for word, misspellings and all:

Dear, Jeff

it's ur buddy from last year and im sory about your Cubs cuz they absolutley stink!!! The cardinals are way to good and need to b a international team


then he ran out of room on the post-it. i find it humorous that the kid couldn't spell "sorry" or "be" but got international right. what does it even mean? why won't this kid leave me be? i guess in the end, i got off easy. i think next time he's really gonna let me have it.

there's no doubt in my mind that if he knew my co-worker was going to be there yesterday, he would have given me something more thought out and more scathing. i think he had to improvise. i'm sure the spelling would have been just as bad though.
