If a line drive hits the pitching rubber, and comes back and hits the batter outside of the batter's box, is he out?

if a batter gets hit by a ball outside of the batters box, he's out whether the ball hits the rubber or not, right?

A ball is called if the pitcher goes to his mouth? I'm pretty sure I've seen a lot of pitchers liking their hands before a pitch and nothing is called...

If a pitcher is on the dirt and goes to his mouth it would be called a ball. This is not the case when it is cold and the umps and coaches decide to allow it.

I think so, but what if the batter is a righty, and he's out of the box up on the third base side?

I think so, but what if the batter is a righty, and he's out of the box up on the third base side?

if the ball is fair and the batter is out of the box, why would it matter if he's on the third base side or not?

Why would a non-handicapped, right handed batter be up the third base line after making contact?
