Padres at Cubs 5/12/09

Fuck yeah Cubs winning 6-2!
Hopefully a 4 run cushion will be enough for Gregg!
Fuck yeah!
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

Sweet shit. Nice come from behind win. Solid outing by Harden, the bats were (mostly) good, and the bullpen didn't implode.

6 straight scoreless outings for Gregg. He's gonna be great if he throws strikes which he's done lately.

I figured the game was over after Adrian's 2-run homer. Peavy gave up 2 hits and 0 runs in 8 innings against a great Dodgers lineup 2 starts ago. Nice win, and especially nice to see MB have his swagger back. Hopefully he can go on a tear while Aramis is out.

Sorry I wanted to know about what Bradley did. Since you've pointed out my faults as a fan, I now recognize that what I did was wrong.

Last year at this time...

Exact same record of 18-14.

Cards were 21-12, 20-13 now.

I know he has gotten off to a slow start, but he is the only person on the team that can fill the Aramis void in the middle of the lineup.

Fukudome still continues to impress me with his turnaround from the second half last year.

Does anyone understand this formula, of which we're supposedly the best in MLB?

It would be great to pin the June swoon tag on them.
