Milton Bradley sucks

I think he has earned his money so far, and should continue to, for at least 2 more years. Who knows? He has by far exceeded my expectations, he might still be valuable toward the end of his contract.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Were your expectations for him 100-130 games played per season and a .231/.294/.430 line for this season?

My expectation was that he would suck to such an extent that the Cubs would realize how hopeless it was, and contract themselves.
I like you guys a lot.

I hated the Soriano signing so much, that while I followed them on Gameday, I did not watch a single regular season game in 07 or 08. I have been watching this year.

Lou will cover the Bradley incident at his conference after Ozzie's. It's on CSN.

They switched the CSN signal off for me when the game ended, arg. I flipped to GN and they have Ozzie on, I wonder if they'll stay with it to show Lou or put on America's Most Retarded Pets or whatever. I think this is technically Sox post game on gn, so I doubt it... I hope Ozzie gets out of there fast.

He struck out and went into the dugout and threw his helmet and pitched a fit. Lou just said that he's tired of people throwing tantrums and that he told Milton to take his uniform off and go home. I think he's making an example out of him.

Not to nitpick, but he actually flew out on a 2-0 pitch, no? He's had a lot of bad swings in great hitters counts all season, and he decided to explode at the wrong time and make an idiot out of himself. Well, actually, Milton's made being an idiot a lifestyle.

I thought it was interesting that Soriano said that if Bradley doesn't straighten up then "we don't need him":

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->"I hope [Bradley] comes back and he can help the team to win. If he's not that way, we don't need him. We have 25 players, we have to be on the same page. If he's not 100 percent to help the team to win, we don't need him. If he's 100 percent and he comes and wants to play, he's more than welcome."<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

That signing turned out well.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

But it's not as if anyone could possibly have known Bradley had stability issues before he was signed for three years.

So I guess Milton feels like he doesn't have any friends in the clubhouse. Oh brother. He's not going anywhere, so they better get together for a nice circle-jerk and make nice. Or make up some shit, DL him, and give him two weeks to get his shit together.
