This bitch Escobar had better not be responsible for the game winner.

Disgusting game we had no business losing. I'm too pissed to even start blaming people. I wish I had something to drink. Fuck me.

I keep waiting for this team to hit bottom, yet they continue to outdo themselves. Maybe we have no business expecting them to get much better, especially with all the injuries.

Just got home from Atlanta. Wells was amazing and the game was beautiful until he gave up the first hit, then it all went down the toilet (though the loss was by no means his fault....he got robbed AGAIN). Man, those Braves fans really know how to rub it in. I wish I would've brought some earplugs. I never want to hear the Tomahawk chant again......

It was freakin hot as well. I think I probably sweated off at least 5 pounds too.

We need an Atlanta Bob rant, right now.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

Well this loss pretty much crushed my soul as far as this season goes. Up until this point I've always thought we would be fine, we would turn things around etc. but now I can't see it anymore.

Obviously we are still .500 with a lot of season left but, wow. This one hurt even more than the Soriano 'dropped 27th out' game against the Pirates last year. Thinking about it, its really amazing that we lost, it seems like we had to do everything possible wrong during the 8th and 9th to have a chance to lose and we managed to do it.

I feel like I got kicked right in the balls.

Hi all...FNG here...

here's what I emailed a friend today:

Randy Wells pitch 6 2/3 no hit innings and got a no-decision in a 12th inning, 6-5 loss last night. This was his second shot at a first career win and one where he helped his cause with his first career MLB hit and RBI. He left the game with a 5-0 lead.

This morning he shot and killed Carlos Marmol and Kevin Gregg. The DA says he won't be filing charges.

I also saw the most bush acting job I've ever seen last night. Yunel Escobar got hit on the ummm...bat and flopped to the ground...clutching his head. The ball never was close to his head. He woozily hobbled to first where he stood, bet over, hands on his knees while he recovered.... He'd been peeking at signs and Soto set up on the outside for an inside pitch. It hit his bat about 4 inches above his top hand and went foul. He flopped and was awarded the base. And there's a history of this: http://phillieslongdrive.wordpress.com/200...t-by-the-pitch/

He needs a ball in his ear.
