A Trip Down Memory Lane...
#1
<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->But in all seriousness, I'm not denying to anyone that I was loud and constant in defending Mitre and Williams, but I was also consistent in my evaluation of them as capable MLB starters. And now they are both MLB starters. I'm not bragging at all, just saying I wasn't wrong.

If Harvey flops this year and beyond, and if Gallagher doesn't become a middle of the rotation starter at the big league level, I will eat a TON of crow, because I admit I've been "gushing" about them for years.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

This a quote from you? I just don't see the context.

I'm not gonna pile on anyone because I was wrong on Williams too, but examples like these are why I never put any stock in prospects, especially Cubs prospects. That's why I try to avoid ever getting into an argument with anyone regarding unproven talent.

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->"I support shutting it down until they tell me it is safe. The seats I sit in are only a few rows forward from where a person would get CRUSHED. I don't sit there every day - maybe 1/2 the time. But my friends and family sit there. It is GROSSLY DANGEROUS and I support anything to save that danger."<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->They'd give the piece of concrete that landed on you a ticker tape parade.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

The Classic Thread of Classic Threads...
I just re-read the first 10 or so pages and I was literally in tears. It will never get old.

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->I could see where you could make that mistake, but I meant queue.

Don't worry buddy, we all make mistakes.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->My bad. I thought you were aiming for English.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->You are taking the definition you saw too literally.

If you are in queue for something then yes, you are in fact waiting in line. If you're putting something in reserve, you are putting it in queue, or queueing it. To queue something is to put it on reserve waiting for it to commence. It's simple English Kid and I don't understand why can't understand this.

Is it that hard for you to admit when you're wrong? Can you not appologize for wrongfully attacking my post?<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->BURN!!<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I'm happy if this diverges into a funny quote-fest, but what the fuck, Coach? Are you trying to become a caricature of yourself?
