What if (I know, I know) this team is actually pretty good?

The weirdest thing about watching all the Cubs commercials during the game, is how much they avoid showing clips from the last 7 years. Its almost like Hey, how about all this great nostalgia of all those Cubs team that DIDNT win the World Series? Huh? Those were some good times, right?
Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

This Cubs team will probably be up and down this season, but I think they're closer than many seem to think. And that's not because they're 2-0, who cares, I just think there is some decent non-name talent there, an improving farm and good chemistry with the guys on the MLB team. I'm hoping long term the Cubs take the shape of the Red Sox and the Rays and the A's, where even if it's a down or rebuilding year they're drafting well and making smart decisions about players and most importantly, are disciplined and well coached to the point that they still are decent.

I'm a little concerned that Counsell will continue to push his staff to go head-hunting especially after the early lead.

Have to like the approach at the plate.  Not sure if the back end of the rotation will be any good, but once they start bringing up the hard throwers for the bullpen they might not be terrible.
