When did you turn into a 16 year old girl?

just because they're performing well on another team doesn't mean they'd perform well with us.

just sayin...

Hudson was unbelievably cheap last winter, but it did seem as if our middle infield was set with the LSU guys.
True, most of Hendry's moves last winter were head-scratchers, but it's hard to blame him for this one. Hindsight is 20/20.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

Can't argue with that either.

There were a few (including ruby) who could see that Theriot isn't a real shortstop and a Theriot/Fontenot double-play combination is mediocre, at best. Those same few wanted Hudson and were vocal about it. This was all before Hudson signed with the Dodgers.

No hindsight involved.

I'm pretty sure Hudson has been awful since Mid May hasn't he? he was playing out of his mind to start the season but I know his batting average has dropped like 50 points over the past month.

Of course he would still be the best hitting 2B/SS/3B on our roster, with Ramirez hurt.

Yeah looking at Hudson's numbers, he has kinda pulled a Fukudome, he is hitting under .200 over the past few weeks. I'm sure we would all hate him right now if he was a Cub.

I didn't see that. Oh well. I guess we were doomed this season no matter what.

Has Hudson ever played short in the majors?

Bonds still available? Put Soriano at second.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

I know it was suggested earlier, but Tejada would be nice. He's in the last year of his contract. Though I seriously doubt the Astros would trade with the Cubs, being that they're only a few games behind the Cubs in the standings (and the whole trading within the division deal).

But it would be one hell of a pick up. If only for the season.
I got nothin'.
