We need a real number 3 hitter. I don't think very many pitchers (if any) are really that intimated when the Cubs number 3 guy comes to the plate, which is sad.

That was pretty much my point. If our number 3 guy isn't intimidating, then no else will likely be either....until Ramirez gets back at least.

Sure, Soriano has his moments of intimidation, but the majority of the time, any pitcher in the league could whiff him.
