Just returned from the game.
Really getting tired of having a Twins crowd at Wrigley.
A few instances of Twins fans going nuts on the way out of the park but no cases of a Cubs fan taking them to town.
Cubs fans are basically acting as their team's offense, emotionless and showing limited effort.

Like Len and Bob were saying, the Twins fans have been louder the last 2 days than anybody team's fans since they've been there. They really travel well. I'm sure they enjoy getting to watch their team out of a dome every once in awhile and what better place to get to see them than Wrigley.

They're giving fans little to rally around. And when the crowd does get into it, they just let us down anyways.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

Watching a game outside a drab hangar is worth the trip alone.

The sad thing is that with the Indians coming in next weekend, you can pretty much expect the same damn thing.

Yeah, because Cubs fans should start fights with loud fans of the visiting team . . .
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

Now I'm really hoping he comes back so I can hold you to this. And I'm convinced you're being serious.

Couldn't care less about who the crowd is cheering for.
Only through the rest of the Central's futility is this not starting to look like a lost year. There's no guarantee that Ramirez even comes back at 100%.

Bingo.
I don't expect anything to change when he comes back. He's been injury prone in the past, so he isn't a lock to a) play at his best, or b ) to even be in the lineup on a consistent basis, and c) 2/3 of the lineup has been complete garbage and is showing no sign of making any adjustments to opposing pitchers. This kind of shitty approach (similarly to last year's disciplined approach by our main offensive weapons and the effect it had on the team) is contagious and it's spreading throughout the entire team. I've been searching for a silver lining here somewhere, and not a single position player on this team gives me any reason to stay positive long term. We're playing lifeless ball both on the road and now at home. It really is amazing to me that we're anywhere around .500, because we deserve to be much worse than that. MUCH worse.
I'm glad I wasn't home today to watch that crapfest.
