He needs protection in the pen. He can't handle the pressure of being "the man". Wood, Eyre and Howry gave him support in 2007, and parts of '08.

He has protection. Guzman and Ascanio have been awesome and should probably be taking his job right now.

But everyone gears their gameplans for Marmol. Everyone in the league knows about him now. It's not like he's benefiting from a virgin slider anymore. Guz and Ascanio have been amazing, yes. But they aren't billed as featured relievers like Marmol is.

He still needs to throw strikes. He's been bad coming in to start innings and has had nothing. He's been a mess since the middle of last season, even though he's managed to be effective for a great part of the time. I dunno, maybe he's coming back down to earth after a couple good seasons.

Everyone should also know by now that if you're patient with Marmol, he'll probably walk you.

That could be it. Could be as simple as over throwing too.

My dad is a Cubs fan and we have been looking for tickets to go to a game soon, and he just says.."The Cubs fuckin suck, maybe you should start looking for Brewers Tickets." I now have a feeling my dad might be secretly gay.
