I feel a little bad for Kerry--and at the same time glad we didn't spend $10 million on him.
I'm 100% fine with this. I'm just glad there's an actual plan in place that isn't, "Let's load up on retreads and hope we get lucky." I'm a little tired of that plan.

It's hard to feel good about a win the Cubs get by having Wood blow a save and take a loss.

Well, not that hard. . I think Wood realizes his team is going nowhere and giving us a helping hand.

A throwing error on the catcher and a wild pitch. That's how they practiced it all spring.

Woo hoo, that's Cubs baseball.

Some men are born mediocre, some men achieve mediocrity, and some men have mediocrity thrust upon them.

I think the Indians suck worse than the Cubs. It's fun to just beat somebody for a change. I don't expect this to last.

I really hope Woody gets the day off tomorrow, and the Cubs win an easy one. Love the wins. Hate the circumstances.

So can we figure out how to score runs before our pitcher has to take the ND?
