Yep, me too

He is now 6 for 7 with 4 grand slams this season with the bases loaded.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

That's completely insane. I wonder if anyone has ever had a streak like that.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Well, Mr. Cub hit 5 grand slams one season, and held the record for a long while. Did someone break it?

But yeah, Pujols is incredible. It's a difficult position to be in when a guy who plays for your arch-rival is the best player in the sport. As a baseball fan, I can't help but marvel at the guy. But I sure as hell don't want any Cub pitcher doing anything but nibbling on the outside corner if that fucker comes up with the bags loaded against us.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance

I looked it up: Don Mattingly hit 6 in 1987 and Travis Hafnor hit 6 in 2006. Pujols has an excellent chance to break that record with 5 before the break.
I'm 100% fine with this. I'm just glad there's an actual plan in place that isn't, "Let's load up on retreads and hope we get lucky." I'm a little tired of that plan.

I made the mistake of tuning in again today before the Cubs game. Brenneman was whining about the Reds only having one player in the All Star Game (a relief pitcher). Fucking dick is like a broken record with his "the Reds don't get any respect" refrain.

Well if Votto played anywhere else but 1B, maybe they'd have more. Marty needs to have a coke, and smile and shut the fuck up.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

Plus he's missed a good portion of the season being injured.

That too, but I think he's referring to Thom.

Actually he wasn't hurt, he was in a severe depression after the death of his father in the offseason.
