But seriously, ever since we blew that last bases loaded opportunity, we haven't done anything and Wells has looked shaky. Maybe I'm just constantly nervous about any lead, but we should be leading by 5 or 6 runs right now, yet the Braves are very much in this.

I know it's hard to have confidence after how mediocre this team has been for the majority of the season, but I really feel we've turned things around with these past 2 series wins, at least somewhat. I definitely feel a lot more comfortable going into games and holding leads than I did before.

Pretty much everywhere besides the US uses a DD/MM/YYYY format. They're all wrong.

Yes, they are [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img] Not trying to nitpick or anything, but it seems that since the majority of us live in the USA and the Cubs are an American team, it would make sense that we would use the standard format for this country.

Most pitchers' era's around 3. So, what is usually the margin of victory in MLB? If one run wins/losses are the exception. Then is the margin of victory/loss around 2-3 runs. What's a blowout? 4 runs.

I was thrilled about this game, I expected a loss coming in. I didn't think we'd score more than 1 or 2 off Jurrjens. He had only allowed over 3 earned runs twice on the season.

Gregg's been great of late, I'm more confident in him than anybody in the pen right now. He's allowed runs in just 2 of his last 22 innings pitched.
