The Wire

I've started watching. I'm intrigued. But I can't understand what the hell anyone is talking about half the time.

Great show. I still haven't seen the final/5th season. Season 1 and 4 are my favorites.

This is one show I wish never ended. I loved every season. McNulty and Omar are two of the best characters ever written for a show in my opinion.

It's an awesome show, hang in there with it. My wife says she couldn't understand half of what they were saying the first season, and not in terms of what they were talking about, but literally she couldn't understand the characters because they mumble so much.

I'm halfway into season 2 and it is awesome. It reminds me a lot of Homicide: Life on the Street (which is one of my all-time favorite shows) with a little more edge.

As you may already know David Simon did both shows. And The Wire is the best TV drama ever.

I watched all 5 seasons in October. I think the claim that it is the greatest show in the history of television has some merit.
