Hart sent back down
#1
<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->The Cubs sent right-hander Kevin Hart to Triple-A Iowa on Thursday and are expected to call up right-handed reliever Jeff Stevens, who was acquired in the Mark DeRosa to Cleveland deal, on Friday.

Hart, who allowed one run in five innings on Wednesday in his first major league start, will be recalled after the All-Star break to start the fifth game of the second-half in Philadelphia. Since the Cubs will need another reliever for the four games in three days series against St. Louis, Hart was expendable.

Stevens is 0-3 with a 2.18 earned-run average at Iowa.

The Cubs also will remove left-handed Jason Waddell from the disabled list and option him to Iowa. No decision on Geovany Soto will be made today after the MRI confirmed the original diagnosis of a left oblique strain. The Cubs won't call anyone up to replace Soto, who will not play this weekend.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Well, here comes the first part of the DeRosa trade.
Stevens has looked like he could be a big piece of the bullpen for someone, yet his K/9 are down this year at Iowa.

Here is my piece of advice for him:
Throw strikes

Well, if Stevens can manage to walk less than 1 per inning, he will have already outperformed Hart in that dept.
