He's like night and day compared to when he starts, and is far too valuable to use as just an average 5 inning starter.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Well, I wouldn't use tonight as that example though. He got out a guy that came in batting .169 against lefties and then started that mess which Marmol came into with a single and walk allowed.

He's been absolutely superb though, no doubt about it. Leads the NL in stranding runners. If I knew Harden would keep pitching like he did in this series, I'd be all for it. But he's shown flashes of this and then goes back to sucking. Kevin Hart just cannot throw strikes and his 5 walks in 5 innings will get annoying fast. Dempster coming back soon would help a lot.

We don't know if B.J. Ryan can be of any use, and Jason Waddell is Jason Waddell. So I'm starting to lean towards that thinking rok.

But hasn't he also allowed only 1 inherited runner to score so far this season? He's pretty average as a SP, and it seems to me that he is much more valuable in the pen. Maybe I'm putting to much into it.

I had a few more things to say and edited my post. Yeah, he has. He's been terrific. I don't think you're putting too much into it at all, it's more my worry of Hart for example in the rotation.

There was a lot of excitement after the Cubs swept the shitty Indians last month. I want to see what they do against Philly before I let my guard down again.

Well, against Hamels and Moyer, I don't expect that to go well. I'm hoping to somehow win 2 of the next 4.

Hamels and Moyer aren't having that great of a year, so hopefully we can knock them around.

Scared of THE Jamie Moyer, are you fucking serious?

Not only are we going to beat Philadelphia, fellas, we're going to fuck up Cincinnati and Houston and Florida and Colorado, and we're going to Wrigley for Philadelphia and Pittsburgh and Houston ... And we're going to San Diego and LA and New York and Milwaukee, and then we're going to Bucsh Stadium to take back the NL Central!! Fuck Yeah!!!
