I'd give my left nut to see a perfect game live. And I wouldn't give 2 shits if it was Lincecum throwing it either. There have been 17 in the history of modern baseball for God's sake..

Has Lincecum spewed a bunch of bullshit about the Dodgers over the years? Buerhle has been a total douchebag about the Cubs for a long time -- it isn't just that he's on the White Sox.

The fact that a perfect game is so rare makes it that much harder to swallow.

It's a special baseball moment that you'll only see a few times in your life, who gives a shit who did it? I would've enjoyed watching it as a baseball fan if Chris Carpenter did it, like Gad was saying about Lincecum(provided it wasn't like a game late in September that really hurt our playoff chances or something).

Half of this thread makes no sense. Clapp, Giff, Gad and I think Baron get it. If I forgot anyone I'm sorry, but you get it as well.

If it were any other pitcher on any other team, I would probably agree with you. But seeing amazing baseball moments happen to one of my least favorite players on my least favorite team, performed for the least deserving fan base in sports doesn't make me happy.

Sorry if it's "baseball history". I wanted that first out in the ninth to bounce off of Wise's fucking head, and over the fence for a home run. Fuck Buehrle. There's nothing special about it......to me.

There is a .0044% chance any given game ends as a perfect game.
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

That chant happens often at the conclusion of White Sox games. You are aware of this, right?
