Notes From SoFlo

So I've been in Miami for almost a week and went to the game on Sat. Here are some things I've noticed from the last few games...

- Soriano and Bradley don't run hard to chase balls in the OF. If someone hits one over your head, get on your fucking horse.

- Koyie Hill is a no bueno hitter.

- I have no use for Baker. He is = Miles in my book. Every time I see him bat it's a shitty grounder to the 3b.

- Is Lou going to use Grabow until his arm falls off?

- Gregg throws a lot of strikes--albeit many of them belong in BP.

- When it's hot, Zambrano would rather be in the A/C.

- We definitely need some veteran leadership off the bench. I would consider Melvin Mora--but that's me.

- I have egg on my face about Derrek Lee.

...that is all. Sorry if there are any errors with my typing--I'm using my iPhone.

Let me translate this thread.

I went to Miami and you didn't.
I think because I attended a series I am in a better position to scout talent than you.
I had a spanish class in middle school.
I'm big enough to admit my mistakes, unlike you losers.
Oh, and did I mention I have an iPhone.

Baker may not be very good, but Miles is from a different world of suck.

Is this like the first time you've attended a Cubs game or something?
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

Fuckers.

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->The Chicago Cubs' curse of the goat has been around for more than 60 years, but manager Lou Piniella has grown tired of it after just three years.

Piniella is still miffed that Marlins' mascot Billy the Marlin paraded a billy goat in front of the Cubs' dugout at Land Shark Stadium between the second and third innings of last Friday night's game.

"Tasteless," Piniella told the Associated Press that night. "Every time we come here, they do some kind of gimmick. I don't know who thinks them up. I mean, when they come to Chicago, we don't fry marlin."

He was still bothered when he was asked about it on ESPN's Pardon the Interruption on Wednesday night.

"Yes, I thought it was tasteless for the Marlins to do that. Look, you can have some fun, but I thought they went overboard with that, the Billy-goat thing," Piniella said.

"I don't believe it, but you know three years of it, you get a little tired of it. You would think that wouldn't happen in a Major League Baseball park," Piniella continued. "Their owner didn't like it, either. So look, I know one thing, they came back in grand fashion and took two out of three from us, but that had nothing to do with the Billy-goat, believe me."

Marlins spokesman P.J. Loyello said the team had no comment other than to say, "This is a baseball game, this is entertainment, and from the looks of things, there were plenty of laughs at the park."<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Good assessment of my notes.

Not the first time I was at a Cubs game--just the first time I was at a game since the All-Star break. Not to mention, it was the first time I've been at a game that far away from Wrigley.

Also wanted to mention that Cubs fans outnumbered Marlins fans 2 to 1.

And yes I studied Spanish for 6 years.

6 years and the best thing you could come up with was:

So there were only 8 Cubs fans? That's surprising.
