The film 9

Has anyone seen this yet. What an absolute joy to travel along on this imaginative, exciting adventure in a post-apocalyptic world. Despite certain things not being explained, the adventure proves to be king. The visuals and framing in this movie are pure amazing. See it!

I've been seeing the trailer online and at theaters for some time, and thought it looked intriguing. However, I was STUNNED to find out it came out last week. It's going to die a quick death at the box office, as it wasn't even remotely promoted on TV or in the papers. Which is too bad, because it looks pretty good.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

From the reviews so far, it sounds as though it is visually stunning, but is sort of lacking in the plot/dialog department. I still want to see it though. I don't usually go to the theater to see animated features, but it might be time to make an exception. I'm also intrigued.

I thought it was ok but nothing special. I should probably throw in that I'm not a huge Burton fan. His movies tend to be artistically and visually great but the plot and character development suffers at times and "9" was no exception.

Tim Burton had little to nothing to do with this film. In fact, I believe he just stamped his name to this movie for a paycheck.

I didn't quite get this movie. The animation was great, but the plot didn't really add up. I'd probably give a 3/5.
I got nothin'.
