Has anyone watched any of these games? If they actually mattered, they would all be absolutely heart-breaking. Two walk off wins and Gregg just blew the lead in the 8th of the third game.

This season seems to have lasted 10 years.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

Brutal.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd--> I'm following on the internet. I've watched some of the game, but once Gregg walked the leadoff guy, and Soto forgot to catch one of his next pitches, I went back to the football game. I did notice Miles just struck out looking with men on first and second. I've defending Hendry on a lot of things, but the Miles signing was inexcusable.
I wish that I believed in Fate. I wish I didn't sleep so late. I used to be carried in the arms of cheerleaders.

Sweet. This is set up nicely for another walk-off win.

Bases loaded, one out, after a HBP.
A few days ago, before this Cardinals series and before the Bradley shit, I had sort of made my peace with this team. At this point, I'm not sure I've ever hated another Cubs team more.

Has a team ever given up 2 walk-off wins in the same game?

That was cool.

My view of these games were that the teams were evenly matched. Both teams had 2 of their 3 best starters take the mound Cubs (Lilly, Dempster and Z) versus the Cards best (Smoltz, Carpenter and Wainwright).
The Cubs lost 2 games in the 9th and won one game in extra innings. They lost 2 but scored more runs than the Cards in the series on the road. That isn't that bad. It would have been nice to get a series win but these 2 teams aren't that far apart. Without the Cards additions of Holliday, DeRosa, Lugo and Smoltz, the NL Central would probably still be up for grabs.

I was at the Sunday game, 3rd Cubs/Cards game I've been to this year in Chicago's retarded little sister city, first the Cubs have won. I was happy, but it was an unfulfilling happiness.

I'll try, but I live in Cardinals country and have to deal with bastard friends and co-workers trying to convert me. This must be what it feels like to be the last virgin in Vegas.
