Baseball America's all-rookie team

I know a lot of you guys have very little faith in Wells, but even you have to agree that Wells got shafted on this one.

BA's All-Rookie Team

Not quite sure how they make their selections, but if performance from this year has a strong bearing, Wells really should have been on there.

hmmmmm, I'm surprised the "team" doesn't have more pitchers anyway.

That is what I was thinking. You could easily make a case for all of those guys over Wells. You could also make a case for Wells over some of them. I hardly think he got shafted though.

[sarcasm]As we all know, the W/L record is the most telling stat for a picther.[/sarcasm]

His 12-10 record doesn't look as nice.

I know ERA doesn't translate equally from AL to NL, but Nieman's and Porcello's ERAs don't look as impressive to me as Well's 3.05 in the NL. If Wells had a 3.40 or 3.5 ERA, I wouldn't mind as much.

Porcello got in because he put up those stats while being the youngest pitcher in the game. At least I think he is the youngest in the game.

Here's another guy that should have made it.

Absolute bullshit. No freaking way Niemann and Porcello deserved it over Wells. That's utter crap.

Do I sense a hint of hyperbole?
