The more I think about it, I think being in win now mode at the moment is not wise.

Well, I really don't think we can win with what we have now, but given the size of the budget, there's no reason we can't be competitive again soon if we rebuild the right way. Better to be bad for a couple years and then have a chance to be good, than be mediocre indefinitely.

Well, there were a bunch of members of this board on the same board (just not this one) for a couple of really crappy years.
I'm 100% fine with this. I'm just glad there's an actual plan in place that isn't, "Let's load up on retreads and hope we get lucky." I'm a little tired of that plan.

That's pretty recent history.
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
