Bradley traded??

Because two threads makes more sense than the 28th page?

We can make a "Bradley, The Post-Cub Years" thread to talk about all his transgressions while away from Chicago.

Let's say he drives his car off Mt. Rainier; are we going to add that discussion to the "Bradley Traded?" thread?

I'd have no problem with that. That's called "getting traded to the Angels."

Incredible.

Once this contract is up, I don't think Bradley will be playing professional baseball again. In fact...we may not even have to wait that long.

Couldn't it be argued that that statement VOIDS the contract, including the Cubs' share of it?

Maybe the pre-schoolers in Seattle will start ridiculing Bradley's kids' heritage and that will be the final straw...

You were really missed for those 5 years.

KB....care to weigh in on this? Are you finally understanding why Hendry had to trade this piece of shit? Or do you still think he made a mistake?

I'm giddy at the prospect that the Mariners could take the view that Bradley quit yesterday.

I'm pretty sure that if one party abrogates a contract, the other party has discretion, regarding pursuing satisfaction of the terms of the contract.

Milton can try to Costanza his way into the dugout tonight but why should the Mariners not just take him at his word?

As bad as the situation was in the media, I'm beginning to think that it was much worse than even we imagined.

I didn't completely disagree with Hendry trading Bradley, but I thought him staying still had a chance of working.

You were right Tom.

Yeah, we bandy about the word "insane" in jest, but I think in this case, we may have been right on the money.

I just re-read a lot of this thread...and so far I was all sorts of wrong. I freely admit it. I was all over Hendry's shit for this trade and couldn't have been more wrong.

The above quote was maybe the only thing I was right about.
