Why would he go off of them?

I wish he wouldn't have.

His career trajectory makes no sense, none whatsoever. If something doesn't make sense, there's usually a reason behind it. I'm fairly certain PEDs are the cause of his strange path.

That can be explained by his weight loss and subsequent increase in bat speed.

What doesn't make sense is why he would wait till they started buckling down on PEDs to start using them and why he would abruptly stop using them after obvious success.

I've decided I'm not going to freak out about every little thing like I used to. I can't sustain that kind of rollercoaster ride anymore.

I say that now...

If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

<!--quoteo-->QUOTE <!--quotec-->Kyran (Boulder, CO): Who's your surprise team - in a good or bad way - in MLB this year?

Kevin Goldstein: Good: Washington. Not in a oh my god they won 85 games way or anything, just in that they won't be a joke.

Bad: Cubs -- I just think that window has closed, and it's a roster filled with players on the downswing.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

You don't go from being a poor minor leaguer to be a ROY by losing a little weight, it's really that simple to me. He had help.

Do you know of a reasonable explanation why he would stop after getting away with it for 2 years?
