You guys would love Dye - in particular as a 4th OF. He can't play CF, and his range is not what it used to be, but he'd still average with the glove, and would be an awesome bat to have come off the bench to pinch hit.

His teammates always love him. He's great with the fans and the media.

He's very much like Lee except Lee is a GG calibre 1B and JD is very limited in the OF.

I'm surprised he can't find a deal he wants to DH somewhere in the AL or play everyday somewhere. Maybe he wants to stay in Chicago?

Dye or Nady would make me feel a lot better about our depth. Last year we had none, and Aram's injury forced us to play Miles and Fontenot both everyday. Of course we still have no depth at 3B.
