That's a lot of money for a 35-year-old SS that had just a .705 OPS the last 2 years, and 25 errors in '09(that's 10 more than our crappy shortstop). Looking at their lineup, I'd think there's a good chance Dusty has him and his .316 obp('09, .322 career) batting 1st or 2nd. He's still got pretty good speed, dudes.

That's what I'm wondering about the Brewers...with the exception of Gallardo which of their starting pitchers makes you even remotely nervous? Maybe, big MAYBE, Randy Wolf?

I bet he can't wait for the opportunity to bat Cabrera and Miles #1 and #2 respectively. Oh, it's gonna happen.
Except for the fact that the Cubs have had 4 playoff appearances and 7 winning seasons in the past 12 years while the Reds have sucked.
Only the Pirates have a longer consecutive losing seasons streak.
I have a soft spot for the Pirates, but I've hated the Reds since 1975. I hope they continue to suck.

Jocketty said he wasn’t overly concerned about that." Of course, Dusty might just have him lead off. http://news.cincinnati.com/article/2010020...welcome+Cabrera |
