Brewers building statue of Selig
#16
Sorry if I'm not impressed with a cancelled World Series, rampant steroid use and a meaningless exhibition game being used to determine home field in the WS.

The people of Milwaukee are probably better served with the Brewers in Milwaukee but what about the average baseball fan?

If the Brewers played in a town like Raleigh, NC or Las Vegas, NV is baseball better served than the Brewers playing in Milwaukee, WI?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

I'm not sure, but that isn't the point, which is that it makes sense that a franchise would honor a guy that brought a professional baseball team to their city.

But that's one of my issues with Selig. You can find multiple instances of he failed to separate what's was good for his interests versus what was good for baseball.

The Brewers are the Selig's team if they want to construct a statue of a flaming horse's ass, they can do so but that doesn't mean the flaming horse's ass is deserving a statue.

<i>"I think that's great. It's a good target for pigeons all over Wisconsin."</i> ESPN baseball analyst Peter Pascarelli, on The Baseball Today Podcast.

Apparently, Selig was offended and ESPN made Pascarelli apologize on today's podcast.

so Selig has power over ESPN, but not over the actual game of baseball? Selig needs to grow some balls and fix his fucking sport!

Evidently, ESPN kicked Passcarelli off the show because of this, which really sucks because he made it actually worth listening to. C'mon ESPN, get some balls. The dude made a harmless joke about Selig and they can him. Retarded.

Used to think Bowie Kuhn was a humorless douchebag, back in the old days. He was...but Selig...what an asshole.
