2010 Minor League Roundup
Chad Tracy, baby.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

Hey Jim, Tracy is hitting .800!

Blake Parker has not walked a batter in his last four appearances. 8.1 IP, 5 hits, 1 ER, 3Ks, 0 BB. I think he'll be getting a call up soon if Grabow goes on the DL.

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

Raley had his usual dominant game, so we can expect 10 earned in 3 innings next time out.

I watched Shafer pitch on TV when he was in college and he had some pretty good stuff. Good to see him doing well.

No joke. We may need to try him out in ST and see what happens, regardless of ARam's contract situation in 2011. We could have one of the youngest infields in the game by next season, which would be scary, but kinda cool.

3-0? Call the Shark back up!

I think taking a look at what Vitters can do in ST would probably be a good idea.

Cashner gets his first Iowa start tonight.
Also, it appears that Jay Jackson has been moved to the pen in AAA

That's very interesting, and telling. He had been solid as a starter, so it would seem that this suggests he's on his way to the big league bullpen sometime (this year?).

It would be baffling if they convert Jackson to a reliever and call him up before Parker and Stevens. Stevens I understand a bit because he has chances last year. Especially considering Parker and Stevens are on the 40 man roster and Jackson isn't.
