I don't give a shit about Iowa making the playoffs. Frankly, a championship would be one more thing that pressures the Cubs with regard to Sandberg and I don't care about his fairytale ascension. If he gets the job fine but I don't care about the narrative. Also, It's delaying September call-ups.

True enough, but on the positive side it delays us from having to sit through a Samardzjia classic 2 innings pitched 9 ER start.

I'm fine with it...I'd be happy about it. I just don't think it should be effecting the MLB club in any way though...including call-ups. I'd MUCH rather see what Samardzija's gonna do now than in the spring.
