BULLSHIT!!!

That's one hell of a play from Brandon Phillips.
The thing you need to remember is that all Cardinals fans and all White Sox fans are very bad people. It's a fact that has been scientifically proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. Being a Cubs fan is the only path to rightousness and piousness. Cardinal and White Sox fans exist to be the dark, diabolical forces that oppose us. They are the yin to our yang, the Joker to our Batman, the demon to our angel, the insurgence to our freedom, the oil to our water, the club to our baby seal. Their happiness occurs only in direct conflict with everything that is pure and good in this world.

I'm not sure he was, it was awfully close. It could have went either way.

When a dude makes a play like that, if it's close, runner is out.
Like Buehrle's (sp?) insane play on Opening Day. I'm pretty sure the guy was safe.

That Phillips play really hurts now. That ball was demolished.

Not wrong about his stuff. You can't tell with any of these kids until they get into these situations. And when you have a bullpen full of them, regardless of their ability and stuff, at least a couple of them are going to fail with this pressure in front of huge crowds. This is too damn predictable and makes me shake my head that people were actually okay with it. We need to overpay for a legitimate setup man if we have to. Maybe 2. It's that big of a need.
Yeah. I don't want to hear this theory of keeping young unproven kids in the pen to save money over proven exspensive vets anymore. This is absolute bullshit.

Nice to see Lee start hitting.
Now we need Ramirez to be Mr. Clutch again.
