Anything is possible, but trading him now would be tough enough given the salary involved, and we would be selling low as well.

Doesn't matter. He has little trade value.

Doesn't matter. He has little trade value. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> I disagree. <!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> Then you overvalue him. Stark or Rosenthal a month ago said that they had talked to several GMs that wouldn't have anything to do with him if he were available.

Then again, Hendry seems to always find a way to devalue his players at the wrong time.

Z has a bit more trade value than Gorz, which isn't saying much.

Gorzelanny may have just gotten a stay of execution. I'd bet it's Wells to the pen.
This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.

Has Wells luck ran out?

He's been solid most of the year aside from 2 starts, so the jury is still out.

Wells was all over the middle of the plate and he can't pitch like that with his average stuff. He has to hit his spots, and he usually does. But yeah, I agree that I think he's headed to the pen now with how knee-jerk Lou is with everything. And I can't see Wells doing very good in that role. He's a starting pitcher.

Wasn't he a reliever down in the minors for a little while? Maybe he'll surprise us.

Lou suggested the guy was Wells a week ago.
