Is it my imagination, or have we lost a lot of one-run games this year?
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
We're 3-5 in One-runs.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.

I think the problem is we're not spelling his name right, it's Amarmis. As long as we, collectively, start calling him by that name; we'll be fine and he'll turn it around.

I don't think so. He came back with the vengeance last year and he hasn't lost his power.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Yeah, that's not it at all. He's pulling off everything and not being selective at the plate. He hasn't hit yet, but his problems are mechanical/approach related, not injury related.

I'm worse than Aramis...I'm 0-5 so far. As soon as I walked into the area where I could see the game today Dunn hit the go ahead homer. I'm cursed.

This scares me, cause I just came into this thread to write a post saying that I wish the Amarmis of old would come back, having not read this.

If calling him Amarmis is what it will take, then consider it done!

He can call me his pretty pony if it will help him hit.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, there cochise! I thought we had an arrangement.

0-5? You can make that up in one night.

BTW, Ramirez hasn't had a multi-hit game since opening day when he was 2 for 4...ouch!

I can't figure out what his deal is. Is he hurt or what? Our record isn't nearly as bad if he's hitting like he should be.

Once again, replace Ramirez with Tracy for a series and get some damn offense going. Carrying a .150 hitter in ARAM and a .220 hitter in Lee is just killing us. I'd be more than happy to see Tracy give up an error if he also went 5/15 in the series. PITTSBURGH handed our ass to us... this can't continue

Tracy is in Des Moines . . . and it's a stupid-ass idea anyway.
