Aramis
#1
It's starting to be longer than just a slump. We're a month in and he's batting under .160

The other day Pat Hughes said Aramis had said he's not seeing the ball well. My response to that- go see a fucking eye doctor! It's not rocket science.

I'm doubly pissed since he's my fantasy 3B, but WTF?

Was he booed today?

I didn't hear any boos, but I had Pat and Ron on the radio -- sometimes it's hard to tell.

They said on the telecast today that Ramirez is a lifetime .258 hitter in April and it is his worst month of the year. Every other month he hits .278 or better....so hopefully he starts to hit once the calendar changes because he is killing us right now.

If he had performed average (for him) so far, what's the change in wins? 2? It's a big swing, I know that.

It has looked to me like he is coming out of the slump the last couple days, but I do wonder if there is something wrong with him. I also think it's time to move him down in the order a couple spots until he starts hitting, as he has been single-handedly killing us lately.

I would think 2 or 3 pretty easily.

Seriously, is there any way to find out how many men he has left on base so far this season?

He's actually hit slightly better with men on than without, not that it's saying much.

I think he has failed in just about every close and late situation though.

He walked in the game-winning run on Monday night.

Walks clog up the bases.

He's driving me nuts. I've never seen him strike out so much or look so lost at the plate. But, like someone said earlier, he does seem to be hitting the ball a little bit better these last three or four games.

How many spring training games did he miss? Bob was chalking it up to missing those games, I'm not so sure.

Look at how long it took DLee to get "back" from the wrist.
This was the shoulder, it may take another year for ARam to get "back"
Fat Bastard is an immensely obese, hardly able to walk (weighing a metric ton) gardener and henchman hailing from Scotland. His extreme size endows Fat Bastard with super-human strength as exhibited by his prowess in the Sumo ring from Goldmember. This makes him a formidable enemy for Austin Powers. Fat Bastard is noted for his foul temper, his frequent flatulence, his vulgar and revolting bad manners and his unusual eating habits, which include taste for Human infants (which he calls "the other other white meat") or anything that looks like a baby, e.g. small people. Fat Bastard has been a regular at Cub games since the early 80's when he tried several times (unsuccessfully) to eat the visiting San Diego Chicken.

I don't think so. He came back with the vengeance last year and he hasn't lost his power.

Is it my imagination, or have we lost a lot of one-run games this year?
There's nothing better than to realize that the good things about youth don't end with youth itself. It's a matter of realizing that life can be renewed every day you get out of bed without baggage. It's tough to get there, but it's better than the dark thoughts. -Lance
