I seriously cannot believe how well Silva has pitched thus far this season. I gotta say this has been one of Hendry's better trades.

Yes, it's worked out great for a Hendry trade...I agree but I'm calling it an accident. Hendry couldn't have had an inkling. We took garbage to get rid of garbage. Maybe Larry gets the credit...I dunno. From the get go, Silva has indicated that he loves it at Wrigley...and I know, success tends to make people contented.

While I'm more pleased with Silva so far than I could have ever imagined being, I'm going to have to reserve judgment on this until maybe end of June. I want to see how his body holds up, since he really hasn't pitched a full season in 3 years. No complaints so far though.

How can anyone reserve judgement on the trade?

Granted I expect Silva to begin defecating, spewing vomit and eat it while on the mound next inning ending his career and I would still argue that Hendry came ahead in that trade

I'm not talking about the trade, just Silva. Anything that we could have gotten for Bradley would have been a bonus.
