More importantly, I can't believe he was only 37. It seemed he was around forever, and seemed he had been out of baseball for awhile. Guess I was wrong on both counts.

Don't know if it was necessarily a scandal but I seem to remember something about some form of venereal disease like genital warts... She's damaged goods.

The first thing I thought was 'steroids'. Is it so obvious that nobody is really bringing it up? I've always had this thought that there would be a point when we'd start seeing ball players from the steroid era having health problems, specifically heart related.
