Lee didn't get to a ball he possibly could've. I thought nothing of it. He was playing Pierre in for the bunt, bouncer past him down the rf line. Z then gives up 3 more hits in the inning, including a 3-run bomb. But he of course blames Lee. Maybe he should've blamed himself for not throwing over 87 mph until the 4 runs had come across.

You don't flip out at the team captain(who carried the team last year) and one of the most respected players in the league over a 50/50 groundball, especially when you then proceed to get rocked the rest of the inning. He's an immature piece of shit with diminishing skills. When he had an era under 4 and was throwing over 90 mph, I didn't care so much. He can go fuck himself and I'm sure Lou told him to do the same thing. There's a reason he was sent home after the 1st inning.

I've been hesitant to call Z's career over (especially as a Cub), but I'm to the point now where I'm thinking a permanent separation is needed. It has become obvious that he doesn't want to be here any longer, so maybe we should accommodate him. It's really too bad that all this is happening when he is at the lowest point of his career, because he is worth nothing right now in a trade.

Greatest rotation in the history of baseball.

I'd actually love to see that. I need to hate this douche and the only thing stopping me is the fact that he's a Cub.

Maybe the Mets would take him. I'd prefer that he left Chicago altogether.

Yeah...but mainly that video reinforces my disdain for Stoney and Hawk.

"He gone."

Hawk gives me massive douche chills.

We do need to blow this up. I just can't make up my mind if it's a good idea to do it with Hendry still at the helm.

I am ready for a big-time youth movement out of our farm system...get some guys up for a look-see after we start selling off pieces so we know who we can get serious about for next year.

On the CSN side, Len said something about an interview with Allen Trammell coming up a few innings back. Did that happen?

A rotting corpse would have more life in it than this joke of a team. I don't think I've truly enjoyed a single baseball game all year.

This team is seriously going to end up being worse then the 2006 one. I can't wait until Lou and Hendry are gone. These people make me sick.

Phil Rogers:
They lost Zambrano when they reacted to the Michael Barrett dugout fight by shipping out the catcher and giving the pitcher a contract that makes the ones held by Jake Peavy and Mark Buehrle look like peanuts. The Cubs just didn't know they lost him.

I'm not sure if Rogers is on the like or dislike list for people, but I think in a way I have to agree with this. It's in the past now, but you side with the guy in the wrong like that and you know it's going to come back to haunt you down the line eventually.

Earlier in the game BB compared this season to The Night Of The Living Dead.

I think he may be venturing out where the ice gets thin. I hope he can manage not to go the route of Stone. You can be right and gone.
