July 1 - New Month... Same Cubs vs Reds
#1
Facing a rookie lefty.

We're already losing 1-zip top of the 2nd.

I'm going to call this a loss.
I got nothin'.

Since this team can't score more than 1 or 2 runs, the Reds just need to score 2 more to put this completely out of reach.

The Cubs at least made him throw more than 10 pitches in the 3rd.
I like you guys a lot.

It's really pretty amazing how horrible this team is. I expected about a .500 team -- maybe a little better. I never dreamed this team would be this shitty.

I didn't even know they had a day game today, that is how sad this season has become for me.

Facing a lefty making his debut is a double whammy for the Cubs. They never had a chance.

Sometimes, I think this could be the worst team in baseball, or certainly one of the worst. When you consider just how high the payroll is, it's truly sad. And it's not even like there have been tons of injuries or something.

I'm wearing my TYCO shirt to one game next month and my Byrd jersey to the other.
