I know you're being somewhat facetious...but he really is a manchild. He's incredibly immature and you can see that even in the way he plays the game. Mental midget. And he's Canadian.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
Not being facetious at all about those particular comments. Any grown man (except Mikey of course) needs to drop the "Y" from his name immediately or else he will be stuck in a perpetual child-like state.

Joey Ramone is coming back to hurt you.

I agree Rok. It's a generality I have stuck in my head that at the age of about 10, you lose the "y". I however, like Andy.

There's a kid on the soccer team I coach, who goes by Kenny. It's pretty much a forgone conclusion that he will not be on the varsity roster.
I got nothin'.

For some reason, and it has nothing to do with the fact that I know you and like you on a personal level, Andy doesn't fall into that category because it works as a stand-alone name (like Tony). It doesn't come off as a diminutive version of Andrew.

That said, names like Joey, Vinny, Lenny, Kenny, Johnny, Ricky, Teddy, etc. don't work on any level, and just scream retard.

Unfortunately, half my Dad's side has a name like that.... Everyone in WI calls my Dad, Dan. His family in Chicago calls him Danny. I have uncles and cousins that are Joey, Johnny, Vinny.... that might be an Italian thing though.
I got nothin'.

Yeah, that's definitely what it is, and they can't be blamed for it. I guess ever since people started calling me Rocky at a young age, it's been a major pet peeve of mine. I've been correcting them my whole life. You'd think I'd be over it by now.

No one that first met me after the age of 18 calls me "Mike." No one that met me before the age of 18 calls me Michael...except my brother, god bless him. It used to bother me. I'm over it. I always notice it. I've been Michael for 32 years...except to relatives.

My little brother is 25 and he'll always be Mikey. I've called him Mikey since he was a baby. I think being older, I get the right to decide what to call him.

I go by Jeff in "real life", just for the record. A lot of my friends/family call me Jeffy, though not by my request and not all the time. I don't mind it, but I certainly don't sign my checks that way or anything.
