He was the Venezuelan Jason Marquis even when he was "good" in his Minnesota days, and he is playing according to that script so far this season: Good 1st half, terrible 2nd.

I don't see the need to "blow it up", but i definitely want a major overhaul.

There are only a handful of players that I would be pissed if they were traded/DFA'd/ etc...

If we got rid of the other 18 guys on the roster, I'd call that blowing it up. I'd call far less than that blowing it up. I'd take market value for absolutely anyone not on your list.

I wasn't saying that the other 18 guys are going to or have to go, but the guys I mentioned are the only one's I would miss.

I think by Aug. 1st Lilly and D Lee are the only players traded.

When I say, "blow it up" I mean just get rid of the dead weight, and move on. I don't mean a complete rebuild. That's never going to happen.

We need to stop pretending that this season can be salvaged.
