Cubs vs Cards 7/23
#1
How is it possible that Wells is this bad against his boyhood idols?

Jeff Suppan (0-5, 6.05; 6-9, 3.92 all-time vs. Cubs)
vs
Randy Wells (4-7, 4.33; 0-2, 10.13 all-time vs. Cards)

And Suppan will probably get his first win of the season.

Let's just hope that his first inning today isn't as bad as his first inning last time these two met, on a friday, at 1:20, at Wrigley. But, knowing this team it will be.

Fuck that.

Suppan sucks. If Wells can get pass the first couple of innings, he'll be fine.

It's my wife's B-day and she choose to go to the game as part of a B-day gift so we'll be there watching the Cards get pummeled.

It's always nice to beat the Cardinals, but when it's completely meaningless, I just don't enjoy it nearly as much.

And props to Colvin. Homer and a walk today. Nice. (That's for you, funkster.)
