0-for-6 with RISP today.

On the season, the team is hitting .260. But only .246 with RISP.

That's a sign of a bad team.
I got nothin'.

That is actually much better than I assumed it was. I'm guessing our avg with RISP is comically bad against the Pirates, Astros and other bottom tier teams.

I think it's time to end the Schlitter experiment. Kid loves to give up long balls.

Lou sucks. You roll out that lineup, you are saying to your team and especially your pitcher win or lose, who really cares? This season means dick. I don't care what he did in 2007 and 2008, he has lost his drive to win and this game is perfect example of Lou's managing all season.

It's amazing that we can sandwich two Astros series losses with a series win against the Phillies and Cardinals.

I know it would never happen, but if it were me I fire Lou Piniella today. He gave this game away before it started and he is managing it like he just doesn't want to win. Fuck the vets, but the message that sends to the young guys is terrible.

He is in charge of having this team ready day in and day out and leading them. Today he gave us a reason to hate him. You don't quit like this. He played his worst players and ran out his worst pitchers (after Wells went out).

Off day tomorrow, plenty of time to get Brenley or Ryno in there to show cub fans there is still baseball to be played and that this team isn't simply a bunch of overpaid quitters. My hatred for this man skyrocketed today.

Lou isn't going anywhere. They're going to let him finish out the season.

I know he isn't which sucks. He sent a horrible message today to his players and to the fans. It's not right to have him lead this team when it is obvious he has completely given up. It's a pipe dream to think this organization would do a thing proactive to try and change the culture of crap that it is.

I believe we are 4-8 against the Astros, but I need to check on that.

The top of our order Theriot-Castro-Colvin go a combined 6/11 with 2 BB, but the rest of the lineup goes 1/21 with 8 strikeouts. Just pure awesome.

Rammi had his chances, but sitting Lee, Byrd, and Soriano at the same time is just ridiculous. Especially when there is a day off before a freaking night game. Towel-thrown. Fuck Lou.

Look where they would be in the standings if it were 17-7. Pathetic.

You do realize that no matter what else is going on, you can't put your best available lineup on the field for 162 games. Sometimes you rest guys.
