You'll lie quietly listening for changes in his breathing when you're sure he's awake, you'll ask him what he'd like.

As shitty as the Cubs have been this year, I can't help but to think they aren't that far away from bouncing back, and that's mostly because of the pitching staff.<!--QuoteEnd--><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Yeah, but that won't happen.

Watching Lilly go will be the toughest. He's been one of my favorite Cubs ever since the infamous Brave's game where he retaliated and had that "what'd I do look on his face?".

He did it twice against the Braves, but I will never forget, I was in Atlanta that weekend when Soriano went off. The following day was golfing and I got a text from the girl I was dating saying that Hudson threw at Soriano. Then Sunday night, Ted Lilly retaliates and gets run (Renteria correct?). He did it again the next year. And then called the brave player coming at him (I think it was Escobar) a "fucking pussy". Have really loved him since. I kind of hope he doesn't get dealt.

Yup the Renteria game. Never have I wanted to punch someone in the face harder. I gained a ton of respect for Lilly that day.

You remember Renteria taking out his payback on Fontenot with that hard ass slide into second? That was a rough play. That game really should have resulted in an all out brawl.

Detroit or Hanshin? Hendry needs to explore any option that includes Matt Murton.
I hate my pretentious sounding username too.
