Geraldo Concepcion... Remember him? He's been all types of shit over the years since he was signed to a mighty sum from Cuba (with Soler from memory). Well he's been all types of awesome this season and has been promoted to Iowa. Currently sporting a zero ERA over 19.2 innings, 20 K's, 4 BB's, 0.46 WHIP. Looks like he is finally living up to the hype.


Almora still raking, on a 10 game hitting streak. Average up to .333, but with an OBP of .358. Six walks in 129 at bats.

Eloy Jimenez, the big international grab from 2 years ago, hit his 5th HR tonight, and is hitting .329/.358/517 at South Bend. Of course, he does have 42 Ks in 149 ABs. On the other hand, he's only 19.

 

Trevor Clifton, 12th rounder from 2013 and a favorite of the guy who writes this book, is doing well at Myrtle Beach:
