Given that they hadn't even called him up before he got hurt, I've gotta think it would be at least another week in Iowa before Baez gets the call.

If Baez isn't getting at least 3 starts a week I don't think it makes sense to bring him up to be honest. Let him keep developing his new approach and play everyday in Iowa. Call him up in September. I don't want him coming up and just wasting on the bench.

Also, if reports are accurate, he's been reverting to some old bad habits with his big leg kick, thus the strikeouts are starting to pile up a bit. Let him continue to work on maintaining a consistent approach at the plate and then when rosters open up, bring him.
