Starting to wonder about Almora, now down to .244/.285/.340. Maybe he was rushed to TN?

Ian Happ with another homer plus a double and a walk. He has been playing CF rather than the corners or 2B, so hopefully he can stick there.
I am losing faith in Almora, with his bat that is. He defense is still gold glove calibre, especially when you watch his defensive highlights.

I would have to think that Happ isn't gonna be in Eugene long.
Also, I wonder how long it will be before Chesny Young and Gleyber Torres get promoted.

Olt 3-4 with a HR
Schwarber 2-5 with a triple Sure would be nice to have a complete offense at some point later this season.

Can anyone point me to any article that discusses McKinney's defense? Is he at all capable of handling CF? I know someone said they read that his defense was pretty poor...

Yeah, I remember reading he's more suited for a corner outfield spot.

I just read an old scouting report from 2013 that mentioned his speed isn't great and arm is weak. Projected him as a 1B/LF in the future.

"His defensive prowess is where he’s truly exceptional. Although he has committed a few errors (as he’s sporting a .976 fielding percentage in the same three seasons) don’t judge too quickly without also taking into account his physical abilities. His field awareness is exemplary as well as his closing speed. He can cover a lot of ground as he seems to hit his full stride in only a few steps. With these two talents put together, he’s able to make plays quicker as he doesn’t wait as long as some other outfielder for a play to progress. He can make a break faster therefore track the ball easier. This also affects the baserunners because the quicker you can get to the ball and hit your cut off man, the less time they’ll have to tag up, take an extra base or attempt to score."
http://www.baseballessential.com/news/20...-mckinney/ This is the best I can do.Still not really saying he can play CF though.
"I'm not sure I know what ball cheese or crotch rot is, exactly -- or if there is a difference between the two. Don't post photos, please..."

I forgot about Maples.
If Angelo had picked McClellin, I would have been expecting to hear by training camp that kid has stage 4 cancer, is actually 5'2" 142 lbs, is a chick who played in a 7 - 0 defensive scheme who only rotated in on downs which were 3 and 34 yds + so is not expecting to play a down in the NFL until the sex change is complete and she puts on another 100 lbs. + but this is Emery's first pick so he'll get a pass with a bit of questioning. - 1060Ivy

What's the deal with Underwood? That really, really sucks.

Looks like inflammation for Underwood. Good news.
