That's a bummer about Martinez, whom the Cubs got in exchange for Darwin Barney. I was hoping he'd graduate to a live relief arm in the bigs.

Prior to 2016, his numbers were certainly good enough to warrant giving him more runway to continue developing. That said, he is almost 23 and regressed so badly that he was demoted to Myrtle Beach. Probably not much upside there.

Happ has already blasted 3 HRs in Iowa.

Eddie Butler with back-to-back solid starts for Iowa (although he had only one K today). It would be huge if they could count on him as an SP option late in the year or in case of injury.
