Farm System
September is going to be a lot of fun. August has been fun for the most part. When was the last time that was the case?

Andrew Ely, this year's 32nd round pick, also homered in that game for Iowa. He had a good showing in Arizona, and came up to Iowa to plug the holes vacated by

the middle infielders who scampered to the bigs. Wouldn't it be something if he proved decent in his brief stay there?

Schwarber with another dinger. It looks like he'll start next year in Tennessee for sure.

I would think so. McKinney also. I believe Almora starts there too so that outfield should be a good watch the first couple of months next season.

He's go two already today...and Mckinney is 2-2 with a  walk.

Russell HR.

Shit, the farm system is blowing up this weekend. And with the Cubs being almost great recently, I can hardly contain my excitement about the next few years.

It's going to be really interesting with Russell in AAA next year to watch how the FO decides to dial up or down his development clock.

Bryant HR.  He's pretty ridiculous.

I saw it last night. Opposite field, effortless. Soler hit one too, pulled it into the parking lot.

All of Bryant's HRs seem to be effortless. It's gonna be fun to watch next Spring.

McKinney OPS since trade: .857

Russell OPS since trade: .899

That's awesome.

That pitch to Soler was a good pitch inside too...he was just able to get around on it.

I'll pile on. All for 91.2 innings so far. That costed Oakland more money. And yielded a -0.8 WAR. Good deal so far.

Soler homers and is then pulled in Iowa.  Stay tuned.

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]
