Farm System
I agree, a broken bone in the foot wouldn't be a big deal.  As long as their isn't damage to the supporting structure around there it should be fine.  No need to push him.  I know that he is within shouting distance of hitting 50 homers in the minors this year, but that really doesn't matter at all.  If he has to go on the DL, just shut him down the rest of the season and say good job IMO.

Bryant with just a bruise.  He's day-to-day.

This is not some silly theory that's unsupported and deserves being mocked by photos of Xena.  [Image: ITgoyeg.png]

Give the young man several days off, and he will be fine.

Those damn big toe bruises.

The problem with quantifying clutch is that guys who do well in one clutch Stat tend to have that counteracted in another.

While I believe that it is possible to make it to the big and still crap the bed in high pressure situations, a vast majority of big leaguers can handle a pressure situation.
Check it out as I hilariously fail at Cubs blogging.

Brett Jackson's debut with his new organization was 0-5 with 4K. Good luck with him.

Soler continues to struggle (3 for his last 32). Another 0-4 night with 1 BB and 2 K. Avg way down to .230.

Manny just hit a 2-run homer off Randy Wolf in Iowa.  lol

I looked it up on Baseball Reference... Manny had only one MLB homer vs Wolf, in 2001.

Also Bryant is back in the lineup and playing 3B. More good news.

Oh, and Soler still struggling with his avg down to .225. Starting to think we won't see him up here in September after all.

Yeah, hopefully Edwards does enough between now and the Fall to get a promotion to AAA by early 2015.
